Maxtec Bulletin
We had a team of 7-9 people diving during
the B25 "Mitchell" bomber
recorvery project in Lake Murray, SC. Your analyzers provided
an excellent
piece of equipment for analyzing our trimix (18/35) tanks.
We were diving
two to three times a day to 150' with bottom times averaging
30-40 minutes.
Decompression gases utilized were 50% nitrox and 100% oxygen.
Visibility at
the bottom was virtually nonexistent. We lost count of
the dives but the B25
eventually broke the surface after 62 years on the bottom
and is now in
Alabama starting the restoration process. The Maxtec oxygen
analyzer was
key. In all the rush and movement of equipment it was critical
that we have
the ability to verify the oxygen content of every tank
at the worksite. It
made it easy to quickly check oxygen levels, not only as
the tanks returned
from the dive shop, but also anytime we had even the slightest
question
about a tank. Safety was the number one rule on the project
and Maxtec
facilitated a "no worries" operation, allowing
us to focus on the underwater
tasks. Thanks for all your help and support over the years.

I want to thank
you and your company for the quick delivery of my analyzer.
I ordered on Friday and it arrived on Monday.. I was glad
to see this. Of course I was like a child with a new toy
I had to look and touch and yes test it on a bottle. I
was wondering about the how to with this unit....All others
require a hook-up to a 21% bottle prior to testing a EANX
bottle. But I went ahead and hooked up and the test was
completed in less than 30 seconds. This was impressive,
I had only one adjustment to do prior to testing and that
was to set my calibration to 21%.
The unit is small and the protective
case made it very good for my dive trip. I've used the unit
four times in the last two weeks and other divers have asked
and used my tester so I believe the divers will be coming
to see me.
Thanks again for a quality product
and I hope to order more in the near future.

I purchased the Maxtec O2 analyzer
approx. 5 years ago. The unit is easy to use and always
gave accurate readings. What a fantastic piece of equipment.
Every nitrox diver should carry one on their dive trips
to ensure their safety and peace of mind knowing what's
in their tank.
